Writing
I wanted to own a “tech” blog around ~2018. It wasn’t because I had something genuine to share, just because I saw others have one and I decided to give it a shot. I wrote a few things but it didn’t stick. There was also this nagging feeling in my head that wanted to be able to make something “perfect” and because I didn’t have any practice with writing, I could never make something “good”.
At the same time, I used to journal a lot. I have an entire notebook where I wrote my thoughts, ideas, reflections, tech things, doodles. It was useful to keep myself aware of what’s going on in my life. Looking back, I realise the difference: when I’m writing my journal, I was honest but my blog had a filter. And blogging is not about portraying an ideal version of myself to others, but a place to share my opinion and put out what’s on my mind.
I’ll do just that from now.
